Winterizing Your Car Checklist:
***Most important verify you wiper blades!!!***
- Engine bay
-Verify for leaks
-Verify drive belts for cracks and wear
-Make sure windshield washer fluid is topped off
-And at least rated for -45 degrees celsius
– Verify air filter
-Verify battery condition and terminals
-Verify antifreeze
2. When installing winter tires: verify condition of the tires and the wear make sure they are sufficient for the season.
3. Verify brake components visually for cracks and leaks
4. Verify suspension visually for any leaks and cracks
5. In the glove box if possible keep some hot paw pads, kleenex and flash light
6. Inside the cabin of the vehicle verify the cabin filter
7. Install your winter floor mats
8. Things to keep in the trunk to help during the winter season:
1. Windshield washer fluide
2. Antifreeze fluide
3. Tire inflator/repair kit
4. Small booster pack
5. Ice scrapper
6. Good snow brush
7. Pair of gloves
8.rags and blankets
